عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ
أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ انْتَهَى إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مَرْجِعَهُ مِنَ الْحَبَشَةِ وَهُوَ يُصَلِّي، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى انْفَتَلَ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ فِي الصَّلَاةِ لَشُغْلًا
Translation
✧ Ibn Mas'ud came to the Prophet ﷺ upon his return from Abyssinia while he was praying, and greeted him, but he did not return the greeting until he finished. Then he said: 'In prayer there is occupation.'
