✧ Forgetfulness in prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا شَكَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ ثَلَاثًا صَلَّى أَمِ اثْنَيْنِ فَلْيَبْنِ عَلَى أَوْثَقِ ذَلِكَ، ثُمَّ يَسْجُدْ سَجْدَتَيِ السَّهْوِ
Translation
✧ When a man is uncertain in his prayer and does not know whether he has prayed three or two, let him build upon the more certain of that, then prostrate the two prostrations of forgetfulness.
