✧ Forgetfulness in prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: "
إِذَا شَكَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي صَلَاتِهِ فَلَمْ يَدْرِ أَثَلَاثًا أَمْ أَرْبَعًا فَلْيَبْنِ عَلَى أَتَمِّ ذَلِكَ فِي نَفْسِهِ، وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ سُجُودٌ
Translation
✧ When a man is uncertain in his prayer and does not know whether it was three or four, let him build upon the more complete of that in his own mind, and no prostration is due from him.
