Translation
✧ A person asked Ata: I come to the mosque and the imam has already prayed the prescribed prayer. Should I pray two rak'ahs before performing the obligatory? He said: Rather begin with the prescribed prayer, for the right is first. Then pray afterwards whatever you wish. I said: What about in my desert place? He said: Pray before it if you wish in your desert place.
