✧ One who enters the mosque when its people have already prayed — may he offer voluntary prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَ نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
اقْضِ مَا عَلَيْكَ وَاجِبًا، خَيْرًا لَكَ ابْدَأْ بِالْمَكْتُوبَةِ
Translation
✧ Make up what is due upon you as an obligation; it is better for you to begin with the prescribed prayer.
