✧ Raising the hands in supplication
3280 3254 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ مِثْلَهُ.

دَخَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْمَسْجِدَ فَرَآهُمْ رَافِعِينَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَقَالَ مَا لَهُمْ رَافِعِينَ أَيْدِيَهُمْ كَأَنَّهُمْ أَذْنَابُ الْخَيْلِ الشُّمُسِ اسْكُنُوا فِي الصَّلَاةِ
Translation
✧ The same, from Aisha. The hidden text: The Messenger of God ﷺ entered the mosque and saw them raising their hands in prayer. He said: "What is the matter with them raising their hands as if they were the tails of restive horses? Be still in prayer."
