✧ The imam remaining after he says the taslim

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ لَيْثٍ قَالَ:
صَلَّى مُجَاهِدٌ خَلْفَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِيِّ فَلَمَّا أَنْ سَلَّمَ انْحَرَفَ، فَقَالَ: لَيْسَتْ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ أَنْ تَقْعُدَ حَتَّى تَقُومَ، ثُمَّ تَقْعُدُ بَعْدُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللهُ
Translation
✧ Mujahid prayed behind Ibrahim al-Nakhaʿi, and when he had said the taslim he turned away, and he said, 'It is not from the Sunnah that you sit until you stand, then you may sit afterwards if Allah wills.'
