✧ The imam remaining after he says the taslim

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا سَلَّمَ الْإِمَامُ فَلْيَقُمْ، وَإِلَّا فَلْيَنْحَرِفْ عَنْ مَجْلِسِهِ قُلْتُ: فَيُجْزِيهِ أَنْ يَنْحَرِفَ عَنْ مَجْلِسِهِ وَيَسْتَقْبِلَ الْقِبْلَةَ ؟ قَالَ: " الِانْحِرَافُ أَنْ يُغَرِّبَ أَوْ يُشَرِّقَ عَنْ غَيْرِ وَاحِدٍ
Translation
✧ When the imam says the taslim, he should get up, or else he should turn away from his place. I said, 'Is it sufficient for him to turn away from his place and face the qiblah?' He said, 'Turning away is that he turn east or west, according to more than one.'
