✧ Prayer upon the Prophet ﷺ

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ،
أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْ صَلَوَاتِكَ وَرَحْمَتَكَ وَبَرَكَتَكَ عَلَى سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ وَإِمَامِ الْمُتَّقِينَ، وَخَاتَمِ النَّبِيِّينَ مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ إِمَامِ الْخَيْرِ، وَقَائِدِ الْخَيْرِ وَرَسُولِ الرَّحْمَةِ، اللَّهُمَّ ابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا يَغْبِطُ بِهِ الْأَوَّلُونَ وَالْآخِرُونَ، اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى آلِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Translation
✧ He used to say: O God, make Your prayers, Your mercy, and Your blessings upon the Master of the Messengers, the Leader of the God-fearing, the Seal of the Prophets, Muḥammad Your servant and Messenger, the Imam of good, the Guide of good, the Messenger of mercy. O God, raise him to a praised station that the first and the last will envy. O God, bestow prayer upon Muḥammad and upon the family of Muḥammad, as You bestowed prayer upon the family of Abraham. Truly You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O God, bless Muḥammad and upon the family of Muḥammad, as You blessed the family of Abraham. Truly You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.
