عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَرَّرٍ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ وَالثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ كَعْبِ بْنِ عُجْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ عَلِمْنَا كَيْفَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ، فَكَيْفَ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكَ ؟ قَالَ: " قُولُوا: اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَى آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ، اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَى إِبْرَاهِيمَ إِنَّكَ حَمِيدٌ مَجِيدٌ
Translation
✧ A man said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah, we know how to greet you with salam, but how do we send blessings upon you?' He said: 'Say: O Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, as You blessed Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious. O Allah, grant barakah to Muhammad, as You granted barakah to Ibrahim. Indeed, You are Praiseworthy, Glorious.'
