عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَبِيعُ بْنُ خُثَيْمٍ، إِلَى عَلْقَمَةَ يَسْتَشِيرُهُ أَنْ يَزِيدَ فِيهَا: وَمَغْفِرَتُهُ، قَالَ عَلْقَمَةُ: " إِنَّمَا نَنْتَهِي إِلَى مَا عَلِمْنَاهُ
Translation
✧ Rabīʿ b. Khuthaym came to ʿAlqamah to consult him about adding “and His forgiveness” to it. ʿAlqamah said: “We only stop at what we have been taught.”
