عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ قَالَ:
الْمَثْنَى الْأُولَى إِنَّمَا هُوَ لِلتَّشَهُّدِ، وَإِنَّ الْآخِرَ لِلدُّعَاءِ وَالرَّغْبَةِ، وَالْآخِرُ أَطْوَلُهُمَا.
Translation

✧ The first sitting is only for the tashahhud, and the last is for supplication and request; and the last is the longer of the two.
