machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:

✧ I said to ʿAṭāʾ: 'Has any statement reached you that is said in bowing?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'Then what do you say?' He said: 'If I am not in a hurry and nothing distracts me, I say a statement, and when I reach it, that is it. I say: "Glory be to You and with Your praise; there is no god but You," three times; "Glory be to our Lord, indeed the promise of our Lord is surely fulfilled," three times; "Glory be to Allah, the Mighty," three times; "Glory be to Allah and with His praise," three times; "Glory be to the King, the Holy," three times; "Glorified, Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit; the mercy of my Lord precedes His anger," three times.' I said: 'Then has it reached you that he used to say any of these in bowing?' He said: 'No.' I said: 'Then what do you follow in that?' He said: 'As for "Glory be to You and with Your praise; there is no god but You," [it has reached me].'
