عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ،
أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ صَلَّى صَلَاةً فَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ فِيهَا، فَقِيلَ لَهُ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: " أَتْمَمْتُ الرُّكُوعَ وَالسُّجُودَ ؟ " قَالُوا: نَعَمْ قَالَ: فَلَمْ يُعِدْ تِلْكَ الصَّلَاةَ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab prayed a prayer and did not recite in it. He was told about that, and he said: "Did I complete the bowing and the prostration?" They said: Yes. He said: And he did not repeat that prayer.
