عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى قَالَ:
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَتَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ فَمَا يُجْزِئُنِي ؟ قَالَ: " تَقُولُ: سُبْحَانَ اللهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلهِ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، وَاللهُ أَكْبَرُ " قَالَ: فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: هَكَذَا - وَجَمَعَ أَصَابِعَهُ الْخَمْسَ - فَقَالَ: " هَذَا لِلهِ " قَالَ: " تَقُولُ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي " قَالَ: فَقَبَضَ الرَّجُلُ كَفَّيْهِ جَمِيعًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: أَمَّا هَذَا فَقَدْ مَلَأَ يَدَيْهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ
Translation
✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: I am unable to learn the Qur'an, so what will suffice me? He said: "You say: Glory be to God, praise be to God, there is no might and no power except with God, there is no god but God, and God is greatest." He said: The man said: Like this—and he gathered his five fingers—so he said: "This is for God." He said: "You say: O God, forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, and provide for me." He said: The man clasped both his palms, and the Prophet ﷺ said: As for this one, he has filled his hands with good.
