عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ مَيْمُونٍ يَقُولُ:
صَلَّيْتُ مَعَ عُمَرَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ وَهُوَ يُرِيدُ مَكَّةَ صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ، فَقَرَأَ بِ ﴿قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ﴾، وَالْوَاحِدُ الصَّمَدُ
Translation
✧ I prayed with Umar at Dhu al-Hulayfah while he was heading to Makkah the Fajr prayer, and he recited: "Say, O disbelievers" and "The One, the Eternal."
