عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ يَقُولُ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ يَقْرَأُ فِي الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ سُورَةَ يُوسُفَ قَالَ: " وَأَنَا فِي مُؤَخَّرِ الصَّفِّ حَتَّى إِذَا ذَكَرَ يُوسُفَ سَمِعْتُ نَشِيجَهُ، وَأَنَا فِي مُؤَخَّرِ الصُّفُوفِ
Translation
✧ Umar b. al-Khattab used to recite Surat Yusuf in the latter night prayer. He said: “And I was at the back of the row, until when he mentioned Yusuf, I heard his sobbing, while I was at the back of the rows.”
