2726 2702 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مِثْلَهُ.

صَلَّى بِنَا ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ صَلَاةَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ فَاسْتَفْتَحَ بِسُورَةِ الْأَنْفَالِ حَتَّى إِذَا بَلَغَ نِعْمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْمَ النَّصِيرُ رَكَعَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ فِي الرَّكْعَةِ الثَّانِيَةِ بِسُورَةٍ مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ
Translation
✧ 2726 2702 - Abd al-Razzaq, from al-Thawri, from Abu Ishaq, from Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid, from Ibn Mas'ud, something similar. Hidden text: Ibn Mas'ud led us in the latter night prayer, and he began with Surat al-Anfal until, when he reached, “What an excellent protector and what an excellent helper,” he bowed. Then in the second rak'ah he recited a surah from the mufassal.
