عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ:
أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الْعِشَاءَ فَقَرَأَ بِأَرْبَعِينَ مِنَ الْأَنْفَالِ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ بِسُورَةٍ مِنَ الْمُفَصَّلِ
Translation
✧ Ibn Mas'ud prayed the 'isha' with them and recited forty verses of al-Anfal, then in the second [rak'ah] he recited a surah of the mufassal.
