✧ Whoever does not recite the Mother of the Qur'an and recites something else

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي مَنْ سَأَلَ الْحَسَنَ:
عَنْ رَجُلٍ قَرَأَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ كُلِّهَا بِقُرْآنٍ، وَلَمْ يَقْرَأْ بِأُمِّ الْقُرْآنِ - أَوْ قَالَ: بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ - قَالَ: لَا يُعِيدُ قَدْ قَرَأَ قُرْآنًا
Translation
✧ About a man who recites the Qur'an in all of his prayer but does not recite the Umm al-Qur'an—or he said: the Fatihah of the Book—he said: He does not have to repeat it; he has recited Qur'an.
