عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ قَالَ:
كَانَ عَلِيٌّ إِذَا افْتَتَحَ الصَّلَاةَ قَالَ: " اللهُ أَكْبَرُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي ظَلَمْتُ نَفْسِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي إِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، لَبَّيْكَ وَسَعْدَيْكَ، وَالْخَيْرُ فِي يَدَيْكَ، وَالشَّرُّ لَيْسَ إِلَيْكَ، وَالْمَهْدِيُّ مَنْ هَدَيْتَ، وَعَبْدُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، وَعَبْدُكَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، وَمِنْكَ وَإِلَيْكَ، وَلَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، تَبَارَكْتَ وَتَعَالَيْتَ، سُبْحَانَكَ رَبَّ الْبَيْتِ
Translation
✧ When Ali began the prayer, he would say: 'Allah is greatest. There is no god but You. Glory be to You. I have wronged my soul, so forgive me. None forgives sins but You. At Your service and with Your help, and good is in Your hands, and evil is not attributed to You. The guided one is he whom You guide. I am Your servant before You, and Your servant before You, and from You and to You. There is no refuge and no escape from You except to You. Blessed and exalted are You. Glory be to You, Lord of the House.'
