عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيِّمُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ لَكَ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ حَقٌّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَمُحَمَّدٌ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَأَخَّرْتُ، وَأَسْرَرْتُ وَأَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ الْمُقَدِّمُ وَأَنْتَ الْمُؤَخِّرُ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Translation
✧ When he rose at night, he would say: 'O Allah, to You belongs praise. Yours is the dominion of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs praise. You are the Maintainer of the heavens and the earth and all within them. To You belongs praise. Yours is the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all within them. You are the Truth. Your promise is true. Meeting You is true. Paradise is true. The Fire is true. The prophets are true. Muhammad ﷺ is true. The Hour is true. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, with You I have argued, and to You I have raised judgment. Forgive me for what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have kept secret and what I have made public. You are the One who brings forward and You are the One who delays. There is no god but You.'
