عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ الْأَحْوَلُ، أَنَّ طَاوُسًا أَخْبَرَهُ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ:
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَجَدَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ قَالَ: " اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ نُورُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ قَيُّومُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَمَنْ فِيهِنَّ، وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ أَنْتَ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، أَنْتَ الْحَقُّ، وَوَعْدُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَلِقَاؤُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَقَوْلُكَ الْحَقُّ، وَالْجَنَّةُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّارُ حَقٌّ، وَالنَّبِيُّونَ حَقٌّ، وَالسَّاعَةُ حَقٌّ، اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ أَسْلَمْتُ، وَبِكَ آمَنْتُ، وَعَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ أَنَبْتُ، وَبِكَ خَاصَمْتُ، وَإِلَيْكَ حَاكَمْتُ، فَاغْفِرْ لِي مَا قَدَّمْتُ وَمَا أَخَّرْتُ، وَمَا أَسْرَرْتُ وَمَا أَعْلَنْتُ، أَنْتَ إِلَهِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Translation
✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prostrated at night, he would say: 'O Allah, to You belongs praise. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth. To You belongs praise. You are the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and all within them. To You belongs praise. You are the Lord of the heavens and the earth. You are the Truth. Your promise is true. Meeting You is true. Your word is true. Paradise is true. The Fire is true. The prophets are true. The Hour is true. O Allah, to You I have submitted, in You I have believed, upon You I have relied, to You I have turned, with You I have argued, and to You I have raised judgment. Forgive me for what I have sent ahead and what I have left behind, what I have kept secret and what I have made public. You are my God; there is no god but You.'
