Translation
✧ I used to sleep in the room of the Prophet ﷺ and I would hear him when he rose at night to pray saying: 'Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds,' then after a while, he would say: 'Glory be to Allah the Almighty and with His praise,' and after a while. I said to him: 'What is the pause?' He said: 'He would supplicate for a while.'
