✧ The opening of the prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: "
إِذَا قَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ فَلْيَسْتَفْتِحْ صَلَاتَهُ بِرَكْعَتَيْنِ خَفِيفَتَيْنِ
Translation
✧ When one of you rises at night, let him open his prayer with two light rak'ahs.
