عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ:
دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ وَالنَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي صَلَاتِهِ، وَلَهُ نَفَسٌ، فَقَالَ حِينَ دَخَلَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلهِ كَثِيرًا مُبَارَكًا طَيِّبًا، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِنْ صَلَاتِهِ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ صَاحِبُ الْكَلِمَاتِ ؟ " مَرَّتَيْنِ، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: أَنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُهَا يَبْتَدِرُهَا اثْنَا عَشَرَ مَلَكًا أَيُّهُمْ يَسْبِقُ بِهَا فَيُحَيِّي اللهَ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى قَالَ: فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: " مَا لِي أَسْمَعُ نَفَسَكَ ؟ " قَالَ: أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَأُسْرِعُ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَمِعْتَ الْإِقَامَةَ فَامْشِ عَلَى هَيْئَتِكَ، فَمَا أَدْرَكْتَ فَصَلِّ، وَمَا فَاتَكَ فَاقْضِ
Translation
✧ A man entered while the Prophet ﷺ was in his prayer, out of breath. He said upon entering: 'Praise be to Allah, much, blessed, and good.' When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had finished his prayer, he said: 'Who is the owner of these words?' twice. A man said: 'I, O Messenger of Allah.' He said: 'I saw twelve angels racing to be the one to ascend with it, so as to greet Allah, blessed and exalted.' He said: The Prophet ﷺ said to him: 'Why do I hear your breathing?' He said: 'The prayer was called, so I hurried.' He said: 'When you hear the iqamah, walk at your normal pace. Whatever you catch, pray, and whatever you miss, make up.'
