عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ أَحْرَاسَ بَعْضِ أُمَرَاءِ مَكَّةَ يَأْمُرُونَ بِتَسْوِيَةِ الصُّفُوفِ، وَلَا يُصَلُّونَ مَعَ النَّاسِ، فَقُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَعْجَبَكَ ذَلِكَ مِنَ الْأَحْرَاسِ ؟ قَالَ: " لَا وَاللهِ، حَتَّى يُصَلُّوا مَعَ النَّاسِ، سُبْحَانَ اللهِ ".
Translation
✧ I saw the guards of one of the commanders of Makkah ordering the straightening of the rows, but they did not pray with the people. I said to 'Ata': 'Did you approve of that from the guards?' He said: 'No, by God, unless they pray with the people. Glory be to God.'
