✧ The Imam's Screen Is a Screen for Those Behind Him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ:
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بَيْنَا هُوَ يُصَلِّي بِالنَّاسِ إِذْ مَرَّتْ بَهْمَةٌ أَوْ عَنَاقٌ لِيُجِيزَ أَمَامَهُ، فَجَعَلَ يَدْنُو مِنَ السَّارِيَةِ، وَيَدْنُو، حَتَّى سَبَقَهَا، فَأَلْصَقَ بَطْنَهُ بِالسَّارِيَةِ، فَمَرَّتْ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّاسِ فَلَمْ يَأْمُرِ النَّاسَ بِشَيْءٍ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ, while he was praying with the people, a lamb or a young she-goat passed by to cross in front of him. He began to draw near to the pillar and kept drawing near until he got ahead of it, and he pressed his belly against the pillar. It then passed between him and the people, and he did not tell the people to do anything.
