Translation
✧ Zayd b. Khalid sent me to Abu Juhaym al-Ansari to ask him: What did you hear from the Messenger of God ﷺ concerning a man passing in front of a worshiper? He said: I heard him say: "For one to stand in his place for forty is better for him than to pass in front of a worshiper." He said: I do not know whether he said forty years or forty days.
