✧ The Imam's Screen Is a Screen for Those Behind Him

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ:
رَأَيْتُ بِلَالًا خَرَجَ بِالْعَنَزَةِ، فَغَرَزَهَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِالْبَطْحَاءِ، فَصَلَّى إِلَيْهَا الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ، يَمُرُّ وَرَاءَهَا الْكَلْبُ وَالْحِمَارُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ
Translation
✧ I saw Bilal come out with the spear and plant it in front of the Messenger of God ﷺ in al-Batha, and he prayed the noon and afternoon prayers facing it, while dogs, donkeys, and women passed beyond it.
