عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: صَلَّيْتُ إِلَى عَصًا خَالِصًا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ ذِرَاعٌ أَوْ أَكْثَرُ، وَوَرَائِي ثَلَاثُونَ رَجُلًا، فَالصَّفُّ طَالِعٌ مِنْ هَاهُنَا وَهَاهُنَا، أَيَكْفِينِي وَإِيَّاهُمْ مِمَّا يَقْطَعُ الصَّلَاةَ ؟ قَالَ: " نَعَمْ "، قُلْتُ: فَأَجَازَ أَمَامَهُمْ وَوَرَائِي ؟ قَالَ: " يَقْطَعُ صَلَاتَهُمْ
Translation

machine translationʿAbd al-Razzāq, from Ibn Jurayj, who said:
✧ I said to Ata: I prayed facing a stick planted upright on the ground, a cubit or more, and behind me were thirty men, with the row extending from here and here. Does it suffice for me and them against what cuts off the prayer? He said: "Yes." I said: What if someone passes in front of them but behind me? He said: "It cuts off their prayer."
