✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ:
كَانَ يَكْرَهُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَى الْعَصَا يَعْرِضُهَا أَوْ إِلَى قَصَبَةٍ أَوْ إِلَى سَوْطٍ قَالَ: " لَا يُجْزِئُهُ حَتَّى يَنْصِبَهُ نَصْبًا
Translation
✧ He used to dislike that a man pray toward a staff that he lays crosswise, or toward a reed or a whip. He said: "It does not suffice him until he sets it upright."
