✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو هَارُونَ الْعَبْدِيُّ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِأَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ: مَا يَسْتُرُ الْمُصَلِّيَ ؟ قَالَ: مِثْلُ مُؤْخِرَةِ الرَّحْلِ، وَالْحَجَرُ يُجْزِئُ ذَلِكَ، وَالسَّهْمُ تَغْرِزُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
Translation
✧ I said to Abu Sa'id al-Khudri: 'What screens the worshipper?' He said: 'The like of the rear of a saddle, and a stone suffices for that, and an arrow that you plant in front of you.'
