✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ،
قَدْرُ مَا يَجْعَلُ الرَّجُلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ إِذَا كَانَ يُصَلِّي ؟ قَالَ: " مِثْلُ مُؤَخَّرِ الرَّحْلِ، وَأَنْتَ تُصَلِّي، فَلَا يَضُرُّكَ مَا مَرَّ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ
Translation
✧ How much should a man place in front of him when he is praying? He said: "Like the back of a saddle. While you are praying, whatever passes in front of you will not harm you."
