✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ:
أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ يَجْعَلُ رَحْلَهُ فِي السَّفَرِ، فَيَجْعَلُ مُؤَخِّرَتَهُ ثُلُثَهُ إِذَا لَمْ يَكُنْ غَيْرُهُ، أَوْ يُعَرِّضُ رَاحِلَتَهُ فَيَجْعَلُهَا بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْقِبْلَةِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar would place his saddle during travel, and he would make its back part a third of it if there was nothing else, or he would make his riding camel lie down across and place it between him and the qiblah, then pray toward it.
