✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ:
كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ، لَا يُصَلِّي إِلَّا إِلَى السُّتْرَةِ قَالَ: وَكَانَ قَدْرُ مُؤَخِّرَةِ رَحْلِهِ ذِرَاعٌ قَالَ: " يُصَلِّي، وَكَانَ رُبَّمَا اعْتَرَضَ بَعِيرَهُ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا
Translation
✧ Ibn Umar would not pray except toward a sutrah. He said: The measure of the back part of his saddle was a cubit. He said: "He would pray, and sometimes he would make his camel lie down across and pray toward it."
