✧ The Extent of What Screens the Worshipper

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عَطَاءٌ:
كَانَ مَنْ مَضَى يَجْعَلُونَ مُؤَخِّرَةَ الرَّحْلِ إِذَا صَلَّوْا، قُلْتُ: وَكَمْ بَلَغَكَ ؟ قَالَ: " قَدْرُ مُؤَخِّرَةِ الرَّحْلِ " قَالَ: " ذِرَاعٌ "
Translation
✧ Those who passed away used to set up the back part of the saddle when they prayed. I said: And how much did you hear it was? He said: "The measure of the back part of the saddle." He said: "A cubit."
