✧ A Man Reaches a Group While They Are in a Voluntary Prayer, and He Has Not Yet Prayed the Evening Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ قَالَ:
إِذَا خَلَطَ الْمَكْتُوبَةَ بِالتَّطَوُّعِ فَهُوَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْكَلَامِ
Translation
✧ When the obligatory prayer is mixed with the voluntary, it is like speech [i.e., invalid].
