✧ A Man Reaches a Group While They Are in a Voluntary Prayer, and He Has Not Yet Prayed the Evening Prayer
2291 2270 - عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ مِثْلَهُ.
The text that “the like of it” refers to
الرَّجُلُ يَنْتَهِي إِلَى الْقَوْمِ وَهُمْ فِي تَطَوُّعٍ وَلَمْ يَكُنْ صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ قاَلَ رَكْعَتَانِ قَالَ فَاجْعَلْهُمَا مِنَ الْعِشَاءِ الْآخِرَةِ
Translation
✧ A man reaches a group while they are in a voluntary prayer, and he has not prayed Isha. He said: Two rak'ahs. He said: Make them from the last Isha.
