✧ The Middle Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ:
قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَوْمَ الْأَحْزَابِ: مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَبُيُوتَهُمْ نَارًا، كَمَا شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ يَوْمَئِذٍ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ وَالْعَصْرَ حَتَّى غَابَتِ الشَّمْسُ
Translation
✧ The Prophet ﷺ said on the day of the Confederates: 'May God fill their graves and their homes with fire, as they kept us occupied from the middle prayer until the sun set.' And on that day he had not prayed Zuhr and Asr until the sun had set.
