✧ The Middle Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي الضُّحَى، عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ الْعَبْسِيِّ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ:

لَمَّا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْأَحْزَابِ صَلَّيْنَا الْعَصْرَ، بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَأَجْوَافَهُمْ نَارًا، شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى، صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ، مَلَأَ اللهُ قُبُورَهُمْ وَأَجْوَافَهُمْ نَارًا

Translation

✧ On the day of the Confederates, we prayed Asr between Maghrib and Isha. May God fill their graves and their bellies with fire. They kept us occupied from the middle prayer, the Asr prayer. May God fill their graves and their bellies with fire.
