✧ The Time of the Morning Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: قُمْتُ إِلَى الصُّبْحِ قَبْلَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ، فَلَمْ أَرْكَعْ حَتَّى طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ، قَالَ: مَا أُحِبُّ ذَلِكَ قَالَ: ﴿وَقُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كَانَ مَشْهُودًا ﴾.
Translation
✧ I said to Ata: 'I stood for the morning prayer before the rising of the dawn, and I did not bow until the dawn rose.' He said: 'I do not love that.' He said: 'And the Quran of the dawn, indeed the Quran of the dawn is witnessed.'
