عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ، وَابْنِ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي حَكِيمُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:
أَمَّنِي جِبْرِيلُ عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ فَصَلَّى بِيَ الظُّهْرَ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ، وَكَانَتْ بِقَدْرِ الشِّرَاكِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْعَصْرَ، حِينَ كَانَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْمَغْرِبَ حِينَ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْعِشَاءَ حِينَ غَابَ الشَّفَقُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْفَجْرَ حِينَ حَرُمَ الطَّعَامُ وَالشَّرَابُ عَلَى الصَّائِمِ قَالَ: ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْغَدَ الظُّهْرَ حِينَ صَارَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَهُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْعَصْرَ حِينَ صَارَ ظِلُّ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ مِثْلَيْهِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْمَغْرِبَ حِينَ أَفْطَرَ الصَّائِمُ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْعِشَاءَ فِي ثُلُثِ اللَّيْلِ الْأَوَّلِ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى بِيَ الْفَجْرَ فَأَسْفَرَ، ثُمَّ الْتَفَتَ إِلَيَّ، فَقَالَ: يَا مُحَمَّدُ، هَذَا وَقْتُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ قَبْلَكَ، الْوَقْتُ فِيمَا بَيْنَ هَذَيْنِ الْوَقْتَيْنِ
Translation
✧ Gabriel led me in prayer at the House. He prayed Zuhr with me when the sun declined, and it was the length of a sandal strap. Then he prayed Asr with me when the shadow of every thing was equal to it. Then he prayed Maghrib with me when the fasting person breaks his fast. Then he prayed Isha with me when the twilight disappeared. Then he prayed Fajr with me when food and drink became forbidden for the fasting person. He said: Then the next day he prayed Zuhr with me when the shadow of every thing was equal to it. Then he prayed Asr with me when the shadow of every thing was twice its length. Then he prayed Maghrib with me when the fasting person breaks his fast. Then he prayed Isha with me in the first third of the night. Then he prayed Fajr with me and it became bright. Then he turned to me and said: O Muhammad, this is the time of the prophets before you; the time is between these two times.
