أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ أَبِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا،
قَالَ لِابْنِهِ: أَدْرَكْتَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعَنَا ؟ قَالَ: أَدْرَكْتَ التَّكْبِيرَةَ الْأُولَى ؟ قَالَ: لَا، قَالَ: لَمَا فَاتَكَ مِنْهَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ مِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ، كُلُّهَا سُودُ الْعَيْنِ
Translation
✧ He said to his son: "Did you catch the prayer with us?" He said: "Did you catch the first takbirah?" He said: "No." He said: "What you missed of it is better than a hundred camels, all of them black-eyed."
