✧ The adhan in the desert

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: إِمَامُ قَوْمٍ فِي بَادِيَةٍ يُؤَذِّنُ بِالْعَتَمَةِ فِي بَيْتِهِ، وَلَا يَخْرُجُ لَا يَبْرُزُ لَهُمْ قَالَ: فَلَا يَأْتُوهُ قَالَ: فَهُوَ حِينَئِذٍ لَا يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَأْتُوهُ فِي بَيْتِهِ
Translation
✧ I said to ‘Ata’: An imam of a people in the desert gives the adhan for the night prayer in his house and does not come out or appear to them. He said: Then they should not go to him. He said: For then he does not want them to come to his house.
