عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ قَالَ:
قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: جَارٌ لِي بِالْبَادِيَةِ أَقَامَ قَبْلِي أَوْ أَقَمْتُ قَبْلَهُ ؟ قَالَ: لَيْسَ يَحِقُّ عَلَى أَحَدٍ كَمَا أَنْ يَأْتِيَ صَاحِبُهُ، أَنْتَ إِمَامُ أَهْلِكَ، وَهُوَ إِمَامُ أَهْلِهِ
Translation
✧ I said to ‘Ata’: I have a neighbor in the desert who settled before me, or I settled before him? He said: It is not obligatory for either of you to go to the other; you are the imam of your family, and he is the imam of his family.
