Translation
✧ Ibn ʿUmar gave the adhān while he was at Ḍajnān, between Makkah and Madinah, on an evening of wind and cold. When he finished the call, he said to his companions: “Pray in your dwellings.” Then he narrated that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to command that on a cold or rainy night; when he finished his adhān, he would say: “Pray in your dwellings” twice.
