✧ What Expiates the Ablution and the Prayer

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، أَنَّ أَبَا مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيَّ قَالَ:
نُحَرِّقُ عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا فَإِذَا صَلَّيْنَا الْمَكْتُوبَةَ كَفَّرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ مَا قَبْلَهَا، ثُمَّ نُحَرِّقُ عَلَى أَنْفُسِنَا فَإِذَا صَلَّيْنَا كَفَّرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ مَا قَبْلَهَا
Translation
✧ We burn ourselves (with sins), and when we pray the prescribed prayer, the prayer expiates what came before it; then we burn ourselves again, and when we pray, the prayer expiates what came before it.
