✧ Marriage by arbitration

عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُمَارَةَ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ عُتَيْبَةَ،
أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ نص إضافيفِي الرَّجُلِ يَتَزَوَّجُ الْمَرْأَةَ عَلَى حُكْمِهَا، قَالَ: " النِّكَاحُ جَائِزٌ، وَلَهَا صَدَاقُ مِثْلِهَا، لَا وَكْسَ وَلَا شَطَطَ
Translation
✧ Ali said about a man who marries a woman according to her judgment: 'The marriage is valid, and she has the dower of her peers, without reduction or excess.'
