أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ وَمَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ قَالَ:
كُنَّا مَعَ أَمِيرٍ مِنَ الْأُمَرَاءِ فَرَآنَا نَتَّقِي أَنْ نُصِيبَ مِنْ فَاكِهَةِ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ، فَقَالَ: إِنَّ مِمَّا صَالَحَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ عُمَرُ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُسَافِرِ
Translation
✧ We were with a commander among the commanders. He saw us refraining from taking any of the fruit of the dhimmis. He said: 'Among what Umar made peace with them on was a day and a night for the traveler.'
